Thank you for blogging your project! I am going to try to make one in my daughter's size this weekend. I think I will add a hanger somehow to the top so that I can hang it up and out of the way when I'm not using it and maybe better for pictures too. I have been wanting a dress form for her since she started school and isn't here all day for me to fit, but I didn't want to shell out the money for one when she would just grow bigger within 6 months. This is a great money saver!

Thanks Shelley. I hope the tute will help. good luck!!

Thank You So Much, I was going to Buy a Mannequin child size for my daughter, she is in 4-H sewing class and she wanted one for her dress she has to make. Thanks to you this saved me about $300.00 and it was her exact size. Thanks Betty Tuohy

You are so welcome Betty. Glad it helped!!

thanks so much
i need to make several for a student project!

by the way, how many hours do you think this took you?

Forgive me while I stream of thought here....
I drafted and did trouble-shooting while I worked, I'm the mother of four (lol) and did my work in the middle of the dining room.

If I had a willing model, pattern, supplies and instructions, I could have cranked it out in a morning and part of lunch. As it was, it took two days without working too hard at it.

Hopefully that helps. Good luck Lisa!!
